CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur for the foundation and furtherance of a mutual Academic Exchange Program between the two parties for further strengthening the academic aspects. The specific areas focused for development would include Exchange of faculty and staff members, Exchange of students, Exchange of academic published material, Collaborative research projects, Co-sponsored and jointly organized seminars, conferences and workshops etc, Joint supervision for research and organization of conferences and seminars and cooperation in training projects or specified areas of development.

In the meeting, a course of activities for the future was also outlined. A one day workshop on Innovations in Teaching Pedagogy was planned to hone the teaching skills. Apart from this, a joint Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Optical and Wireless Communication would also be organized in the month of September. Furthermore, an international conference in December, 2011 sponsored by IEEE would also be scheduled. The Exchange Program would prove to be mutually beneficial for both the organizations and escalate them in the academic quarters.
Prof. RL Sharma, Director NIT Hamirpur, Dr. Vinod Kapoor Prof. Dept of Electronics and Dr. Lalit Avasthi Prof. Dept of CSE from NIT, Hamirpur along with S. Charanjeet Singh Channi Chairman, Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director and Dr. Manoj Kumar, Director CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar were present in the meeting for signing the memorandum of understanding (MoU). S.Charanjeet Singh Channi expressing his faith in the MoU said that CT Group has always encouraged mutual cohesive efforts for the development of students and staff and providing a conducive and congenial environment for growth. He further said that this endeavor would certainly lay a concrete foundation for academic cooperation and grooming the students and faculty.
