CT Half Marathon on March 6th, 2011 at 6.30am

Renowned Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh and actress Pooja Tondon would join the forthcoming CT Half Marathon scheduled on March 6, 2011. They promised to participate in this  Run for Charity  The bold and  the beautiful duo had come for the promotion of their much hyped forthcoming movie “Lion of Punjab” that holds the secret recipe of success within its storyline,  cast and  crew.

The movie has been directed by Mr. Guddu Dhanoa, renowned director who has directed films for leading stars like Sunny Deol and Akshay Kumar. Mr.Katariya who has the distribution rights of the film was also present in the gathering. With them came the glamour and glitz of Punjabi Film Industry. They interacted with the students and the seminar hall was vibrant with the exuberance of Punjab and its rich culture.

On sharing his views with the gathering, Diljit Dosanjh said that he was overwhelmed to hear about CT Half Marathon - the annual feature of the group which is an endeavor of the Group towards Corporate Social Responsibility. Every year the CT Group organizes a marathon from CT Shahpur Campus to CT Maqsudan Campus, the proceeds of which are shared with the marginalized sectors of the society.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman CT Group requested the gathering to be a part of this marathon of mankind. Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group thanked the film stars and assured that they would always walk hand in hand in promoting Punjabi culture through cinema and cement this bond in times to come.
