The XIV Annual Prize Distribution Function of CT Public School was a visual treat for the august gathering that witnessed the cultural extravaganza showcased by the young CTPians. The Chief Guest of the day was Professor Amrit Lal Sangal, Registrar, National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.
The function was rich with academic ambience marked by the presence of S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions, Co-Chairperson Mrs. Parminder Kaur, Mr. Manbir, Managing Director, Dr. Ashwani Kansra, Director CTIMIT, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Group Director (Shahpur),Ms.Gauri Chhabra, Director, Corporate Relations, Prof. Sukhjinder Singh, Director (Admissions),Karnail Singh, Dean Academics, distinguished guests, esteemed parents and other renowned personalities of the city.
The Chief Guest, Prof. A.L Sangal lit the inaugural lamp and paid obeisance to God Almighty. The atmosphere was live with the synchronization of the orchestra played by the young CTPians .It was followed by a cultural bouquet weaving the diversity of India in a common thread of folk lore of Haryana, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. The dances were appreciated by all and sundry and earned a place in the hearts of the audience. The students staged a play “Nukkar Natika” in Hindi and encouraged the Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan started by the Punjab Govt. The meritorious students hailing from Classes I to XII, who stood first, second & third in their respective classes were encouraged and given certificates, medals & scholarships by the Chief Guest Dr. A.L Sangal and members of the management. Thus, all the stakeholders, the children, parents and management all came under a common umbrella to join this unique .confluence. The folk dances performed by the students of all the four Houses of the school received the loudest applause from the audience.
Thereafter Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur from Department of Punjabi recited a poem in glory and grandeur of CT Public School. The Cultural Trophy for the session 2010-2011 was bagged by Marigold House and the Cock House Trophy for Academics was bagged by Rose House.
The Chief Guest Dr. A. L Sangal congratulated all the prize winners for their outstanding performances in the field of Academics and motivated others to do well, in the near future.
He said “the Herculean task of nurturing and nourishing the young minds is with the schools and with the recent paradigm shift in Education , this responsibility has increased manifold. I am fully confident that CT Public School will continue to make such endeavors in its ceaseless strife for excellence and be the torch bearer in furthering the cause of Holistic Education”.
The Principal of the school, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput read out the Annual Report and also congratulated the winners for their achievements in different disciplines. The school staff was also honored by the management for their distinguished efforts put in by them, for the school. The Principal remarked that behind their towering success the main guiding force are the teachers and their parents. She thanked the parents for their support and co-operation. She also extended her heartfelt gratitude to one and all, for sparing their precious moments, on this auspicious occasion.
The Chairman of the school, S. Charanjit Singh Channi presented a memento to the Chief Guest Dr. Amrit Lal Sangal, Registrar, NIT and honored the distinguished guests and some staff members for their laudable efforts put in academics. Thus, the Annual Prize Distribution function was another milestone in the rich odyssey of CT Public School with many more to come…
