After the successful competition of 4th CT Half Marathon – A Race for Charity – held on 6th March 2011, the donation collected for this noble cause from the various donors was given to the representatives of various charitable organizations in the office of Sh. S.R. Ladhar, Commissioner Jalandhar Range by Chairman S. Charanjit Singh Channi and Co-Chairperson Smt. Parminder Kaur Channi.
While giving cheque of Rs. 1,23,300/- & Rs. 51,000/- respectively to the representatives of All India Pingalwara Society and Apahaj Ashram, Chairman S.Charanjit Singh Channi, CT Educational Society expressed satisfaction and conveyed his gratitude to all those who have donated generously for this event. He further committed that CT Group would continue its endeavor towards corporate social responsibility (CSR) in times to come.
He also conveyed his thanks to all those students, teachers, sport stalwarts, Olympians, celebrities, especially a team of Pakistani band who had made this event a historical success. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to Sh. S.R.Ladhar, Commissioner, Jalandhar range whose presence elevated the event from good to great.
