CT Group Observed 
"Conservation of Natural Resources Day"

CT Group of Institutions organized a day long function on ‘Conservation Of Natural Resources’ the burning issue of the world at its Maqsudan Campus. A CompleteCampaign was organized to find ways to save energy and reduce carbon footprint. The campaign aimed at uniting conscious-citizens in the local surroundings to go green & adopt eco-friendly products. Road march by the students, followed by model display on various ways of conserving natural resources, quiz and Expert talk from  the eminent environmentalist  Dr.Baburam, Member Secretary ,Punjab Pollution Control Board,  Mr. S.P Garg ,Senior Environmental officer on depleting natural resources, were the highlights of the show. 

On this occasion Mr.Arun Kakkar, XEN Zonal Officer, Mr.Manoharlal, XEN Regional Officer, Mr.Amritpal Singh, Asst Env. Engineer, Mr.Gurmit Singh, Asst Env. Engineer, Mr. Satyajeet Singh Attari, Asst Env. Engineer were also present to grace the campaign. Inthis talk, the Dr. Babu Ram and his team, threw light on disseminating awareness towards natural resources among the masses. Natural recourses are being over used, that lead to a serious threat throughout the globe. Quiz contest specifically designed on Natural Resources drew a significant bearing on the minds of the students. Self Composed Solo song on natural resources conservation was sung by different groups of singers at the campus.

The event also witnessed Signature campaign on Conservation of Natural resources. A total of 1000 volunteers pledged to go green by signing on Campaign posters. The impact of the events was so much that a little girl of CT Kindergarten cried out saying “Mama lets always go green”. The event witnessed more success, when group of 200 students went door to door campaigning about Conservation of natural resources by distributing leaflets and other eco- friendly advice. All the faculty members dressed up in green to give the theme of this event.

S.Charanjit Singh Channi,Chairman ,CT Group Of Institutions,  Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director CT Group of Institutions, Dr.P.P Singh Campus Director  Maqsudan, all faculty members of CT Maqsudan Campus and other dignitaries were part of magnanimous campaign to go green.

Motivating the students & faculty S.Charanjit Singh Channi,Chairman ,CT Group Of Institutions said, “Our Group aims at educating people about  Environmental issues. The management & faculty members are trying their level best to inspire students towards this direction.”
