Talent interaction by Novo Elixir in Pharmaceutical Deptt.

 

In the expedition of establishment of new era in global market, especially Asia Pacific; in view of targeting this region as Research & Development segment Dr. J. Dutt (Director, R&D, Novo Elixir, Denmark) and Mr. Rakesh Kumar (Director, Operations, Asia Pacific) from Novo Elixir Inc. conducted a talent interaction programme at CT Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shahpur Campus Jalandhar.

In continuation Dr. Dutt has also delivered a seminar on the topic “Stem Cell Technology and Patents” with a focus over its involvement as an emerging technology in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. The seminar has covered the recent advancements in pharmaceutical and medical research, particularly the usefulness of stem cell technology in treatment of deadly diseases like cancer, diabetes and many more genetic diseases.

Dr. Dutt has encouraged and motivated the students to come forward with some positive attitude to contribute in the research at national and global level, as it will definitely add some constructive measures in their career.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman CT GROUP, also shared his valuable views on this topic and welcomed the industrial entrepreneurs for research collaborations in the coming future. At the end of this awareness session, Dr. Dutt appreciated the interactive participation of the students, research scholars & faculty; he also valued the efforts made by the Institute in promoting the research in the field of pharmacy at the academic as well as institutional level.
