CT Group organizes 'Colossus-2011'
CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan Campus, Jalandhar organized ‘Colossus-2011’ - A Management and IT Fest wherein more than five hundred students from CT Institute of Management and IT (CTIMT), CT Institute of Advance Management Studies (CTIAMS), CT Institute of Management Studies (CTIMS) and CT Institute of Engineering, Management and Technology (CTIEMT) participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The intent was to nurture and reveal the latent ability and forte of the students through mind games and events like Brain Twister, Brain Child Showcase, Business & IT Quiz, Paper Presentation, Ad-Mad Show, Turn the Coat, Debate, Extempore, E-Collage and the like. Apart from the Post Graduate students, participants from undergraduate streams also proved their mettle by bagging several prizes in various events.

Mr. Rajan Sharma, Ms. Arvinder Kaur and Ms. Harpreet Bhatia, coordinators of the event, said that students surpassed the expectations by putting forward such an overwhelming response to the fest. It was also a moment of encouragement as the number of girl participants registered for various events was higher than their male counterparts thereby motivating and inspiring them further.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions encouraged the participants and said that winning and losing is just one facet of the coin, what is of supreme importance is the confidence of stepping forward and participating. He congratulated everyone who became a part of the event.
Dr. Ashwani Kansra, Director, CT Group of Institutions was elated over the response and performance of the students. He further added that this was an initiative to provide students a holistic platform for honing their skills and giving them a competitive edge over others in future.
