CT Group Organized a Blood Donation Camp




CT Group of Institutions today organized a Blood Donation Camp at its Shahpur Campus in which as many as 150 students and more than 25 faculty members came forward to donate blood and to contribute for this noble cause.
The camp was held with the association and cooperation of Health officials of Civil Hospital Jalandhar. In all, more that 150 units of blood was collected on this occasion.
Dr. Balkar Singh, Director PTU Jalandhar, was the Chief Guest on this occasion. While inaugurating the camp he appreciated the spirit of the students and faculty in donating blood and the efforts made by the CT Group to organize this kind of noble activity in their campus. He also encouraged everyone present on this occasion to be a part of this camp as every unit donated by them will serve to save many precious lives in future. Moreover, it is a good way to perform one’s responsibilities towards society and gives a feeling of self satisfaction and contentment to every donor, added further Dr. Singh.
Present on the occasion were S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman CT Group), Mr. Harpreet Singh (Director Administration) and Dr. Manoj (Group Director). On this occasion Mr. Harpreet Singh was seen not only encouraging students to donate the blood but also was the first to donate blood which sent a good message to everyone present there, especially to the students and the CT staff.
Chairman CT Group S. Charanjit Singh Channi expressed his gratitude to the Civil Hospital Authorities for assisting in conducting this camp and all the donors of the day. He reiterated the commitment of CT Group to perform its social responsibilities towards the society and to extend all the help and financial support to needy and downtrodden sections of the society in general and students in particular.
