ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION DAY CELEBRATED AT CT PUBLIC SCHOOL
CTPS celebrated its XVth Annual Prize Distribution day in the school premises with great pomp and show highlighting the theme of the function that “Every Child Is Special”.
Mr. Pramod Sharma, Principal cum Director, Genesis Global School (Formerly Principal Mayo College, Ajmer) was the chief guest of the day with Dr. Sunil Aggarwal, Chief Advisor School Development Educomp, being the guest of honors on this occassion.
Among well-known distinguished gathering of the city and parents of the school students, present on this occasion were Chairman, CT Institutions S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Co-chairperson Mrs. Parminder Kaur, Managing Director Mr. Manbir & Mrs. Tanika, Director Administration, Mr. Harpreet, Dean (Academics), S. Karnail Singh, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Group Director CT Group of Institutions, Dr. Ashwani Kansra, Director CTIM & IT, Prof. Sukhjinder Singh (Director Admissions). They were all given floral welcome by school authorities. However, a formal welcome to the chief guest and august gathering was extended by Dr. Manoj Kumar, Group Director of CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar.
The function started with lightning of lamp ceremony by the Chief Guest followed by the recitation of a Shabad “Deh Shiva Bar Mohi Ehe” by the music choir of the school. It was further followed by a Bhakti Aradhna(Diya Vandana) by the school students.
The other mesmerizing events of the day was ‘a western dance’ performed by little Champs of CT Kindergarten that made every body present a spell bound.
Apart from this the audience also enjoyed some special items like “Mile sur mera tumara, ‘Dancing stars’ ‘save Earth” and an English pray- Dear departed” dramatized by the school students excellently.
Not only this the young CT pians performed “Fitness moolmantra” and “Power punch” in which the budding martiatites exhibited their talent and skills of self-defence, that captivated the attention of the viewers. Thereafter, the academic achievers of the session 2010-11, who scored A1 Grade in all the subjects were honoured and given Certificates, Medals and Scholarship by the Chief Guest Mr. Pramod Sharma and members of management in the presence of their parents.
The Principal of the school, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput read out the Annual report of the session 2010-11 and made the parents aware regarding the achievements during the session in different disciplines. She also congratulated the academic-winners for their achievements. The school staff was also honoured by the management for their distinguishing efforts put in by them, for the school. The Principal Mrs. Ranjana remarked that behind their towering success the main guiding force are the teachers and their parents. She also thanked the parents for their support and co-operation to make this event great success.
She further announced the names of Jasmine House being the winners of Cultural Trophy. Lotus & Marigold House being the winners of Academic Trophy for the session 2010-11. Finally the event concluded with serving of a delicious dinner to guests, parents & students.
